Additionally, we don’t treat any scripting project as “old hat.” We are always looking to give our clients something engaging and modern, no matter the style of script.
How fast we’re able to finish a script is highly dependent on how fast our clients can respond with feedback. If feedback is received within one business day, we can typically deliver a final script within two weeks from our initial scripting meeting.
Double Jump scripts come in A/V (audio/visual) format via google docs. We can deliver scripts in traditional screenplay form, though we have found that A/V format works best for the majority of commercial videos and is easier to follow for most people.
Our scripts can be as long as you need them to be, though the typical turnaround time of 2 weeks only applies to scripts that are approximately 3 minutes or shorter.
In general, we encourage clients to keep their videos as short as possible. Most clients choose scripts that are up to 90 seconds.
You can be as involved in the script process as you would like! We start the scripting process off with a call for our writers to pick your brain and learn everything about your company/product. Creative and tone will also be discussed during this meeting, as well as any reference videos you may have.
After this initial kick off call, a draft will be sent for you to make revisions in, if you have any.
Please note, however, that our scripting projects come with limited revision rounds and do not include live writing sessions between clients and writers.
